The 4th Fondazione Rita Levi-Montalcini Onlus Conference on “Education for African Women: a question of gender and a driver of development” will open at 09.30 on Thursday 16 January 2014 in the International Conference Hall at the Farnesina.
Organised by the Directorate General for Development Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and by the Fondazione Rita Levi-Montalcini, the conference will be opened by Deputy Foreign Minister Marta Dassù. She will be followed by the Minister for Integration, Cécile Kyenge.
The programme includes the following sessions:
“Cooperation Policy” (from 9.30 to 12.30)
“Social Solidarity” (from 12.30 to 13.00)
“Best Practice” (from 14.00 to16.30)
The Director General for Development Cooperation, Giampaolo Cantini, will give the closing address.
