The Minister for Cultural Assets, Dario Franceschini, took part in a mission to Sarajevo to mark the 20th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Agreements, and in the wake of the terrorist attack that cost the lives of two Bosnian soldiers. Assisted by the Italian Ambassador in Bosnia, Ruggero Corrias, Minister Franceschini met the Minister for Civil Affairs of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Adil Osmanovic, and the Bosnian-Muslim member of the tripartite Presidency, Bakir Izetbegovic. Discussion focused on bilateral cultural relations and cooperation projects, and on Bosnia’s further European integration. Together, the two ministers also opened the exhibition on “Masterpieces from the Farnesina Collection” at the National Gallery of Bosnia-Herzegovina, a key event of the Month of Italian Culture.
