Musicologist and scholar Luciana Galliano will hold a conference at 18:30 on 18 November at the Umberto Agnelli Auditorium of the Italian Cultural Institute of Tokyo on Opera, born of the “recitar cantando” style blending voice and music. The conference will explore the use of the Italian language in lyrical music from the year 1000 onward. Soprano Yumi Nara will be accompanied by the Henmi Quartet. Read more, in Italian.
