Earthquake response exercises were conducted by civil protection teams in Malta from 3 to 6 September 2015 as part of the SIMIT strategic project funded by the Italy-Malta Operations Programme for 2014-2020. The exercises were organised by Malta’s Civil Protection department in collaboration with the Civil Protection Department of Sicily Region, with the involvement of police, armed forces and various regional bodies.
