One of the chief innovations of the latest reform of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has been the creation of a promotional “Country System” abroad. An important step intended to make the most abroad of several sectors in which Italy excels.

Explaining and exploring this complex activity will be this week’s guest of “Diplomacy e Dintorni” Directorate Secretariat head Mariela Laroccia. The interview will offer an opportunity to take a closer look at some of the aspects of diplomatic activity in the fields of culture, promotion of the Italian language, internationalisation of businesses and science and technology.
