Australia: 90 million euro contract for AgustaWestland helicopters
AgustaWestland was awarded a 90 million-euro contract for the supply of eight AW139 helicopters to the Australian firm Toll, one of the world’s principal transport sector groups. The contract was signed during the 2015 Australian International Airshow. Toll is purchases the AW139s for use in medical rescue services in the State of New South Wales. AugustaWestland also delivered the first of a fleet of six helicopters purchased last year by Ambulance Victoria, also for use in medical rescue operations. The total value of the two purchases is approximately 200 million euro.
