Vivo d’arte’ 2020, competition for Italian artists abroad

The second edition of “Vivo d’Arte”, the award competition dedicated to young Italian artists (under 36 years of age) permanently resident abroad, is now underway. The success of the first edition confirmed the initiative as an excellent tool to enhance the creativity and talent of our young compatriots living abroad and to encourage collaborations and contamination with other cultures.

Once again, this year the award competition will be divided into two distinct sections, one dedicated to Performing Arts, the other to Visual Arts, in collaboration with the Fondazione Romaeuropa and the Museum of Modern Art of Bologna and with the participation of MiBACT.

As for the first edition, the winning project of the Visual Arts section will be represented in Rome, on 21 October 2020, during the next edition of the Romaeuropa Festival.

The call for the Performing Arts section will be followed in the coming months by the launch of “Vivo d’Arte – Visual Arts”, which will offer the winner the opportunity to perform an artistic residency at the prestigious Museum of Modern Art in Bologna (MAMBO).
