The award ceremony for the Accademia Apulia photography competition will take place On Friday 10 February, at the Royal Horseguards in London. The Accademia is a London-based non-profit organisation which in autumn 2011 was awarded the President of the Republic’s Medal.
The 2011 edition of the competition, for which the subject is Migration, Stories of a Journey, sees three finalists out of 750 entrants from 31 countries. The winner will receive a prize of 1000 euros.
the Apulia Prize is supported by: the Italian Consulate General in London, Amnesty International, the British Council, the European Commission Representation in the UK and the International Organisation for Migration.
