The “Prontuario”, a handbook on the Italian economy to pave the way for foreign investors, prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Bank of Italy and ISTAT, was presented during the MFA-Bank of Italy conference held in the Bank’s Rome headquarters in Palazzo Koch. The handbook contains the fundamentals of the Italian economy and aims to help foreigners interested in investing in Italy understand the recent reforms enacted by the Monti government for reaching priority objectives such as fiscal consolidation, resumption of normal credit disbursements, promotion of short-and long-term growth and competitiveness, reduction of unemployment, and modernization of the public administration.
