Control Panel for International Italy – Farnesina, 18 July 2012

Today the Farnesina is hosting the first meeting of the “Control Panel for International Italy”, chaired by the Foreign and Economic Development Ministers, Giulio Terzi and Corrado Passera. The goal is to draw up the strategic direction and guidelines, including resource planning, for the promotion of the business and industry system abroad and its internationalisation.


Taking part in the meeting are the Minister for Regional Affairs, Tourism and Sport, Piero Gnudi; the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry Policies, Mario Catania; the President of Marche Region, Mario Spacca, representing the Conference of Regions and the Autonomous Provinces; the President of Confindustria, Giorgio Squinzi; the President of Unioncamere, Ferruccio Dardanello; a member of the Executive Board of the Italian Banking Association, Guido Rosa; the President of RETE Imprese Italia (Italian Business Network), Giorgio Guerrini; and the President of the Alliance of Italian Cooperatives, Luigi Marino.


The Control Panel’s task is to coordinate the various institutional components of “System Italy” so as to increase the effectiveness of our country presence in the globalised markets. Markets on which a good part of our growth prospects depends.
