The Italian Cultural Institute of Edinburgh promoted two exhibitions – “Comics, che passion!” on Italian cartoons from the 1930s, and “Le immagini della fantasia” on illustration techniques – in the spacious halls of the Edinburgh College of Art. The historic national institution has been a training ground for many Scots and other artists, and boasts having employed Sean Connergy as a model in the 1940s.
The event was presented on 26 January with the collaboration of the Veneto Region and the sponsorisation of the Hotel Missoni of Edinburgh.
