“Senseless press polemics, since all government decisions regarding the marines and relations with India have been made on a collective basis”. Minister for Foreign Affairs Giulio Terzi commented on the reconstructions by several Italian newspapers of decisions taken by the government.
In Dublin for a meeting of EU foreign ministers, Terzi referred to the decisions, “not only of recent days, but since the start of and throughout the entire affair”.
