ITALY-MEXICO – Record trade

According to the latest statistics, Italy and Mexico set a new trade record in 2012. Italian exports of goods and services peaked at €3.7 billion, with an annual growth rate of 15.9%. Performance was especially lively in the sectors of foodstuffs (+34.7%), beverages (+26.7%) and pharmaceuticals (+22.5%). Imports from Mexico of over one billion euro were up by 4.6% compared with the 2011 record. Read more, in Italian.
