The Italian Cultural Institute in Budapest will be hosting a round table on “Science and Diplomacy: Central Europe and the Mediterranean” on 8 April 2013. The event is being promoted by the Italian Embassy, TWAS – The Academy of Sciences for the Developing World, and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
During the round table, the country representatives attending will be able to exchange notes and focus their attention on the relationship between central Europe and the Mediterranean regions, analysing the key issues linked to the development of the latter.
“A Look at Today’s Italy”
On 10 April 2013, as part of the “A Look at Today’s Italy” events, Prof. Alberto Mattiacci, who holds the Business Economy and Management chair at Rome’s Sapienza University, will give a talk on “The Italian Economy and the 21st Century”. The event has been organised in collaboration with the Universities of Budapest, Pécs, Szeged and Debrecen. Read more, in Italian.
