Preparations are under way in San Francisco for the “Concerto delle Due Baie”, a project of the Consulate general of Italy intended to unite the orchestras and choruses of Naples’ Theatre of San Carlo and the San Francisco Opera for a performance of the Verdi Requiem on 25 October of this year. A benefit Gala has been organised for 15 June during some historic objects from the Neapolitan theatre will be auctioned. May de Magistris will be the guest of honour. Read more, in Italian.
