IRAQ – Construction industry looks to Iraqi Kurdistan

The Italian construction industry is looking to Iraqi Kurdistan, with a mission to Erbil organised by ANCE, the construction industry association. The mission, which included 35 companies and focused on infrastructure and major works, was organised by the Italian Embassy in Baghdad. Our Ambassador to Iraq, Massimo Marotti, took part in many of the events in the programme, which included meetings with the Minister and Head of the Kurdish Department for Foreign Relations Falah Bakir; the Minister for Coordination and Follow-Up, Qubad Talabani; and the Governor of Erbil, Nawzad Hadi.
