EU: Italy and Sweden intensify dialogue

Intensifying the bilateral dialogue on the principal European questions, especially in the run-up to the Italian Presidency of the European Union in the second half of 2014. That was the focus of a visit to Rome by a delegation from the Swedish Foreign Ministry, which was received at the Farnesina on 7 October 2013 to meet senior officials from the Directorate General for the European Union. Participants at the meeting included the Director General, Luigi Mattiolo, and the Deputy Director, Alessandro Pignatti.
