Innovation – “Cloud Computing” Award goes to MFA

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was awarded the prize for ICT Innovation in the Cloud Computing category at the 50th edition of SMAU Milano. The CL.A.U.D.I.E. project (creation of a private cloud resulting in major savings and in streamlining the ministry’s IT activities) was in competition with approximately 250 other candidates. Director General Massimo Civitelli accepted the prize from Prof. Umberto Bertelé, Director of the School of Management of the Politecnico di Milano. This was the 12th external acknowledgement of the MFA’s ICT sector in only two years, confirming the ministry’s commitment to digital innovation
