DEI/Sole 24 Ore – Chile: GDP expected to grow by 4% in 2014

Chile’s central bank has published the preliminary economic figures for 2013, which put annual GDP growth at 4%. The projections for 2014 are positive: a slightly lower rate in the first six months of the year, with growth picking up in the second half, to an average 4% for the year. The Chilean economy is, in general, less dynamic at present, with the international economic situation producing a slowdown in the mining sector. Source: infoMercatiEsteri.
