“The true spirit of the world, of fraternity and reconciliation. All in a glass of wine. To the OPCW”. With these words, a toast with the “Wine of Peace”,the Italian Ambassador in the Netherlands, Francesco Azzarello, introduced a very special event that took place on 3 March 2014: an exhibition dedicated to the “World’s Vineyard”. The event was held at the headquarters of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, which won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2013. The exhibition will portray the 40-year history of the “Wine of Peace”, made from vines from all over the world planted in Cormons. Read more, in Italian.
