The “Hanoi Fossilised” exhibition, by Vietnamese artist Vuong Van Thao, has been a great success. Organised by the Italian Embassy in Vietnam and running from 10 to 22 March, the exhibition was part of the “Y–Viet 2014” programme, also organised by our Embassy. Its aim was to safeguard and preserve cultural values, especially those of Hanoi’s old town. “Y–Viet” is designed to promote mutual knowledge and collaboration in the economic and cultural sectors. The 2013 edition also celebrated 40 years of Italian-Vietnamese diplomatic relations, friendship and collaboration.
