The documentary film “L’anima di Venezia: la Basilica di San Marco” took first prize in the Archaeology and History category of 2014’s VII edition of the Sofia Film Festival on Cultural Heritage. The film, which tells the story of the world famous monumental basilicawith its splendid Byzantine mosaics, was screened along with another three documentaries on Italy’s unparalleled cultural and environmental heritage.
