St. Petersburg – The Regio “ambassador” of Italy with Verdi

Turin’s Regio Theatre will be the protagonist of evening events on 9 and 10 July featuring the work of Giuseppe Verdi and Italian culture in Russia’s northern capital of St. Petersburg. On the first evening, Gianandrea Noseda will be conducting the theatre’s orchestra and chorus in a performance of Verdi’s Requiem; the second evening will host a Verdi Gala in the courtyard of the Hermitage in celebration of the museum’s 250^th birthday.
