ATR’s orders reached a new record in the first 6 months of 2014, with 139 aircraft sold and 102 options. The new CEO, Patrick de Castelbajac, announced the results during a press conference on the opening day of the Farnborough International Air Show.
The value of the firm orders placed with the 50:50 joint venture between Alenia Aermacchi (Finmeccanica Group) and Airbus Group is over 3.35 billion dollars, rising to 5.7 billion with the options.
