A new political economy agenda for Europe, based on structural reforms to foster growth and employment so as to focus the new European legislature and the programme of the new Commission on these issues. These are the goals of the Italian Presidency of the European Union, as illustrated by Ambassador Pasquale Terracciano at the “EMU and the Single Market” seminar organised in London for the British financial community.
