Italy-Japan – Kengo Kuma at Rome’s Casa dell’Architettura

On Friday, 19 September, Rome’s Casa dell’Architettura will host an encounter with architect Kengo Kuma and Professor Takeshi Ito. The event is part of a cycle of conferences intended to involve Italian architects in the international debate on the role and future of architecture. Kuma will discuss his design experience, with a special focus on understanding historical and environmental contexts, and Ito will speak on the importance of preservation within the context of urban development in historic and modern Japanese cities.
