Dei/Sole 24 Ore – Germany: Mercedes joins MV Agusta

Mercedes acquired a 25% share of MV Agusta through the Daimler Mercedes AMG group that also controls 5% of Aston Martin. Synergies will be developed for the moment in the areas of marketing and trade. In particular, MV Agusta will be able to avail itself of the network of Mercedes AMG dealers around the world. President and CEO of the firm Giovanni Castiglioni commented, “MV Agusta will now be able to grow and expand on a global level, and will take the opportunity of EICMA (World Mororcycling Fair) running from 4 to 9 November in Milan, to introduce the new “sport-naked” models: Brutale 800 RR and Dragster 800 RR. With the presentation of the Stradale 800 and Turismo Veloce 800, the firm will also continue to expand for the first time into the touring division.
