The première of a new production of Giuseppe Verdi’s “Macbeth”, the opera based on William Shakespeare’s play of the same name, will take place in Plovdiv on Tuesday 11 November 2014. This new version, produced by the Plovdiv State Opera in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Sofia and director Nina Naydenova, will feature the orchestra and chorus of Plovdiv State Opera. The conductor will be Luciano Di Martino. Read more, in Italian.
