Poland: Salini Impregilo awarded N7 tract contract The Salini Impregilo group was awarded the contract for the construction of 21.5 km of Poland’s national “N7” road, which crosses the country from north to south uniting the cities of Danzig and Krakow. It runs parallel to the A1 motorway, and is Warsaw’s eastern link with those cities. The contract is valued at EUR 143 million, and work is set to take 22 months and include the construction of 22.533 km of two-lane, class “S” road, 3 exits, 11 viaducts, 4 overpasses, 3 bridges, an underpass for cyclists and pedestrians, repaving of secondary and surrounding roadways, environmental and acoustic protection and plantings.
