Italia per le Imprese stops in Padua

The 11th leg of the Roadshow Italia per le Imprese, con le PMI verso i mercati esteri (with SMEs toward foreign markets) took place yesterday. The initiative was born within the framework of the Command Centre for Italia Internazionale to better inform Italian small and medium sized enterprises of the various instruments the State makes available to encourage internationalisation.

The event began in plenary session with speeches by Deputy Minister for Economic Development Carlo Calenda and the foreign ministry’s Secretary General Amb. Michele Valensise, who underscored the ministry’s commitment to an increasingly system-centred approach to support for the internationalisation of businesses.

Over 400 firms attanding

The Roadshow is making stops in those Italian regions most inclined toward exportation (Lombardy ranks second in terms of volume) and aware of internationalisation issues. The over 400 firms attending had an opportunity in the afternoon session to meet with institutional representatives involved in disseminating information on the initiative’s internationalisation instruments.
