Genoa – Internationalisation Road Show 2015

The “Country System Internationalisation Road Show” kicks off for 2015. Genoa to host first event on 22 January, starting at 9.45.

The event will open with a plenary session featuring high-profile guests from the institutional and financial communities. The guests, who include the Director General for Country Promotion, Ambassador Andrea Meloni, will illustrate the instruments and strategies available to support businesses in global markets. Entrepreneurs attending will have an opportunity to meet representatives of all the organisations present, including the Ministry for Economic Development, Sace, Simest, Italian Trade Agency–ICE, Liguria Region, Confindustria, Liguria International, Rete Imprese Italia, Unioncamere and Alleanza delle Cooperative.

The road shows are planned by the “Panel for International Italy”, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and promoted and supported by the Ministry for Economic Development.

Public and private sector actors of “System Italy” together for the first time

The initiative sees all the public and private sector actors of “System Italy” working together for the first time in a joint medium-term initiative covering the entire country. The public institutions, private sector business organisations and the principal financial players will be meeting companies to explore internationalisation issues. Over 2015 and 2016, events will take place in Genoa, Cagliari, Monza, Catania, L’Aquila, Cosenza, Bergamo, Potenza, Vicenza, Pisa, Reggio Calabria, Novara, Forli’, Cremona, Como and Campobasso.

Opportunities and instruments to enter foreign markets

Each event will open with a plenary session that includes presentations by experts in the international sector, who will illustrate the opportunities and instruments available to help businesses enter foreign markets. During each road show event, entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to meet specialists in the sector to work on their own internationalisation plans.
