Nice – Homage to Italy on the Promenade du Paillon

The city of Nice has paid homage to Italy by naming one of the avenues linked to the “Promenade du Paillon” regeneration project “l’Allee des Italiens”. The initiative was keenly supported by the Mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, himself of Italian origin, to underscore the city’s own Italian roots and the important role played by its Italian community. Participants at the opening ceremony included the Consul General of Italy, Serena Lippi, who underscored the excellent bilateral cooperation in all sectors, from institutional to commercial and cultural.
