Riga – Italian portraits from the Bologna Museum

An exhibition opened in Riga entitled “Two centuries of Italian portraits, 1580-1780”; a display of 40 late-Mannerist and Baroque works by a variety of Italian masters, including Guido Reni, Guercino, the Carracci brothers and Lavina Fontana, from the Pinacoteca Nazionale of Bologna. The exhibition, hosted by the city’s Museum of the Bourse, will run through 19 April and has already met with wide public acclaim. Read more, in Italian
