Rome – Increase in railway projects, meeting at Farnesina

Given the increase in international railway development projects, the Directorate General for Country Promotion of the Farnesina organised a meeting with Italian sector associations and businesses to launch a reflection on the needs and priorities of the actors on the ground. During the meeting at the foreign ministry, the results of a fact-finding mission carried out with the diplomatic network concerning the principal railway infrastructure projects envisaged at international level was presented, along with a study by the news agency Internationalia, showing a series of data on growth opportunities and development trends in railway transport in emerging countries.
