Expo 2015 arrived in Scotland’s Glasgow Museum, which hosted an entire day of events dedicated to the Milan EXPO. Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and Ambassador of Italy to the UK Pasquale Terracciano were on hand, along with 500 invited guests representing a variety of institutions. Terraciano expressed the hopes that the British people would visit the EXPO in numbers while Sturgeon underscored Scotland’s special interest in the universal exposition on this second anniversary of being designated a “Fair Trade Nation”.
