Italian-Russian cooperation is growing in the tourism sector. At a press conference today, 11 December 2015, our Embassy in Moscow will be presenting an up-dated version of the “La Tua Italia” portal (http://www.latuaitalia.ru/), which was launched in April this year. Italy’s first Russian-language tourism site, the portal contains information on our country’s regions, towns and cities, tourism destinations, artistic and cultural heritage, and Italian food and wine. The portal also includes a section where visitors can apply for visas, set up an appointment at one of the 22 Italian Visa Centres in the Russian Federation, and pay their consular fees. The portal will also include a calendar of cultural events and a section on “Russian friendly” hotels in Italy.
Today’s presentation will be attended by the Italian Ambassador in Moscow, Cesare Maria Ragaglini, and moderated by travel journalist Mikhail Kozhukhov. Journalist Vladimir Pozner and television presenter Ivan Urgant will also be taking part. Read more, in Italian.
