Finmeccanica has won a contract to modernise air traffic control radar systems at Canada’s 12 biggest airports, including Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver and Calgary. The contract includes options for subsequent revision phases and the potential replacement of additional devices. The decision to award Finmeccanica the contract was based on the high level of technologies used, in terms of quality, operative performance and reliability and the support solutions offered throughout the life cycles of equipment.
