Bucharest – Roma Tre University presents Romania travel guide

The Roma Tre University presented the first volume of the e-book series entitled “Invitation to Travel” dedicated to Romania in the Auditorium of the University of Bucharest Central Library on Tuesday. The presentation, organised by the Italian Embassy in partnership with the Infoeuropa Centre of the Romanian Foreign Ministry, was attended by a large number of guests. The book, an absolute novelty among the travel guides to Romania, offers a multi-faceted and multi-disciplinary panorama of the country and, at the same time, focuses on specific aspects that can guide the reader towards acquiring an in-depth knowledge of the territory, its language and traditions.

Present at the event were the Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Razvan and Horatiu Radu, the State Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Gabriel Ispas, and the president of the Academy of Romania, Ion Valentin Vlad. Attending on behalf of Italy was the delegation of the Roma Tre University led by the Vice Rector, Santino Vincenzo Mannino, the two editors, Francesco Guida and Silvia Terzi, and several more authors. The audience also included some sixty students, the rectors of the National School of Public Administration, of the University of Bucharest, of the National Defence Carol I University for Strategic Studies and of the Academy of Economic Studies, in addition to students and professors from some of the country’s universities and a large number of ambassadors.
