Melbourne – University, Turin Polytechnic cooperates with Australia

“The collaboration between universities is one of the fundamental building blocks on which the mutual understanding of two nations sharing ideals is based. At the same time, it enables a great many young men and women to better understand a new context, building a baggage of knowledge, relations and experience that will last for many years to come”. The Italian Consul General in Melbourne, Marco Maria Cerbo, commented the “co-tutorship” agreement between Turin’s Polytechnic and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology aimed at collaborating in the training of young PhD students. The agreement between the two universities was delivered to Mr Cerbo, who welcomed the chair of the research school of R.M.I.T., Denise Cuthbert, together with a delegation of ten Italian students involved in various inter-university exchange projects, and three lecturers.
