Myanmar – Italian Mezzotono vocal group to perform in Yangon

Italian group Mezzotono are going to Myanmar for the”Mad in Italy” concert. They will perform on Sunday at Yangon‘s Novotel to celebrate Europe Day 2016, as part of the promotional programme “Italy in Myanmar 2016: our legacy from the past, our vision of the future”. The concert will be a voice-only performance by the five talented singers, said the Italian Embassy in Myanmar. They will present the Burmese public with an original repertoire spanning from jazz, mambo to traditional songs. Mezzotono have performed in theatres in over 40 Countries where their unique style of entertainment has achieved great success. As with all the events organised by the Italian Embassy, the concert is free and open to the public, offering the Burmese, and especially young audiences, a unique opportunity to come into contact with Italian culture.
