Bahia Blanca – Italians cooperate with Hospital Regional del Sur staff

Italian nationals in the Argentinian city of Bahia Blanca have met doctors and administrators of the city’s Italian Hospital Italiano Regional del Sur. The meeting was to increase expertise in health and social assistance to Italians living in the consular district, and identify further actions and forms of cooperation for the benefit of the most vulnerable sectors of the population. The hospital’s doctors and administrative staff welcomed a delegation led by Mario Borghese, an Italian MP and medical doctor, with the city’s Consul General Marco Nobili, CGIE (General Council for Italian Expats) Councillor Juan Carlos Paglialunga, and the President of the Comites  Bahia Blanca, which represents the local Italian community, and Cesar Puliafito. The talks included training and research activities at the Hospital ItalianoRegional del Surt, as it is a member of the Alliance of Italian hospitals  and a regional centre of excellence in healthcare. The meeting also highlighted partnerships with Italian health institutions and universitieswhich will be launched in the next few months to improve the range of services offered.
