More than 170 businesses will be meeting in Bologna on the occasion of the 38th leg of the Italy for Businesses Roadshow to discuss the opportunities and benefits offered by Business Network contracts.After the Venice leg last April, this is the second appointment devoted to Business Networks and to the cooperation model at the heart of the network contract. It is a new institute in Italy’s production system that has already been adopted by over 14,800 businesses – of which 1472 in Emilia Romagna – through the 2,935 network contracts that have been signed. The legal and operational autonomy of the various businesses that come together remains unvaried, but together they can increase their innovative and competitive capacity. The Italy for Businesses Roadshow has reached its third edition. It is the outcome of the joint effort of the Administrations and private bodies to give new momentum to promotional activities and support for internationalisation. It is coordinated by the Steering Board, with an aim to bring institutions closer to the business world and also provide a space where they can illustrate all the instruments that the Italian System can offer to businesses that want to go global.The format envisages a plenary session in the morning with guests from the institutional and financial world. They will present instruments and strategies in support of businesses in the global marketplace with a special focus on Business Networks.The welcoming speech will be delivered by Tiziana Ferrari, the Director General of Unindustria Bologna. It will be followed by a technical session opened by Prometeia and the director of RetImpresa, Fulvio D’Alvia. This session will be chaired by Vincenzo De Luca, Director General for Cultural and Economic Promotion and Innovation of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.At the end of the technical session, the regional instruments in support of internationalisation will be presented. Also, time will be given to Business Networks and those involved in them speaking about their experiences.In the afternoon, the entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to meet the representatives of the institutions and bodies to deepen specific aspects of the internationalisation strategies and the access to support instruments.
