Czech Republic – Mario Ferrante on show in Prague

A solo exhibition by Mario Ferrante, “L’amore al tempo delle stelle cadenti,” will open in Prague at the Italian Cultural Institute on 6 October at 6:00 p.m. The catalogue of the exhibition, which will run until 30 October, features contributions by Aldo Amati (Ambassador of Italy to the Czech Republic), Giovanni Sciola (Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague), Clemente Mastella (Mayor of Benevento and former Minister of Defense), Antonio Morabito (Minister Plenipotentiary), Franco Di Mare (journalist, writer and anchorman at Radiotelevisione Italiana – Italian public service broadcaster), Sarina Biraghi (co-editor-in-chief of the daily “Il Tempo”), Lorenzo Canova (critic and art historian) and Massimo Rossi Ruben (critic and art historian).

The exhibition “tracks the artist’s personal journey and his creative elaboration. It also shows today’s trends in Italian art, ” said Mr Sciola. He concluded: “By visiting the exhibition and reading its catalogue, visitors will feel they are seeing each individual painting and all of the works at once through a kaleidoscope of lights, refractions and also interpretations that vary as perspectives change.”
