At the Quai d’Orsay Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Angelino Alfano began a tour of European capitals today that will take him to Paris, London, Berlin and Madrid and finally Pristina.
Minister Alfano’s first mission abroad begins in the French capital, where today he met the French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault at the Quai d’Orsay. A brief visit to Prime Minister Bernard Cazeneuve is planned for this afternoon. On his stop in London, Alfano will hold bilateral talks with the Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, followed by a brief meeting with the press. A short visit to British Prime Minister Theresa May is planned for the afternoon of the same day.
Minister Alfano will be in Berlin on Wednesday and then travel on to Madrid. The mission will end in Kosovo, with a visit to Italian military personnel stationed at the Headquarters of the NATO KFRO Mission in Pristina, where he will hold institutional meetings.
