Confindustria is to hold Sudan’s Country Presentation on 9 May at its headquarters in Rome. The event was organised by Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo, with UBAE Bank and the Embassy of Sudan in Rome. Italy will be represented by Giovanni Ottati, President of Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo, Mario Sabato, Director General of UBAE Bank and Mario Giro, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Ministers and representatives of the economic and financial sectors will represent Sudan. The meeting will focus on Sudan’s politics and economy, foreign investment regulation, finance and banking and plans to develop the private sector, particularly agriculture, agri-industry, energy, mining and gold.
