The return of Antiquity through virtual reality: this is the theme of the lecture to be held by Alessandro Furlan, one of the founding partners of Altair 4 Multimedia, at the Library of the Italian Cultural Institute of Tirana, this coming 6 September, at 11am. During the lecture, 3D videos will show Italian archaeological heritage sites such as Pompei, Ancient Rome, Agrigento and around the Mediterranean. Altair 4 Multimedia stems from the artistic group by the same name founded in 1995. Alessandro Furlan, Pietro Galifi and Stefano Moretti, who founded Altair 4, conceived the studio as a real art workshop, where different technological and artistic disciplines coexist and operate in continuous dialogue. Altair 4 productions mainly focus on the valorisation and optimisation of cultural and artistic heritage. In this respect, note should be taken of the extensive production of three-dimensional archaeological reconstructions developed by the workshop for museums, television productions and the web, 4K and 360° Videos, Augmented Reality and Interactive APPs for the iOS, Android and WIN8 platforms.
