The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, is on a visit to the German Capital today to attend the Official Ceremony to mark the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin.
In the afternoon, Minister Di Maio is scheduled to meet with the German Minister of Foreign Affairs, Heiko Maas. The talks will focus on major bilateral issues and regional challenges, especially the conflicts of Libya and Syria, in addition to the principal European dossiers. A joint press conference is scheduled at the end of the meeting.
The chief Italian diplomat will then attend the Official Ceremony to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first dismantling of the Berlin on 9 November 1989, the event that marked the end of the Cold War.
