Minister Luigi Di Maio is on a mission to Lugano today. A meeting with Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis, a visit to the Brogeda/Chiasso crossing and a joint press point to reaffirm and relaunch the historical proximity between the two countries are on the agenda. During the interview between Minister Di Maio and his Swiss counterpart Cassis, satisfaction was expressed for the borders reopening – with great attention to border crossers and tourist flows – and for the excellent relations between the European Union and Switzerland.
