ITALFERR HAS BEEN AWARDED A CONTRACT FOR THE RAIL BALTICA HIGH-SPEED LINE
Italferr SpA, in a consortium with the German company Deutsche Bahn and the Spanish company Idom, has been awarded the Rail Baltica contract for the provision of engineering, preparation, procurement and supervision services for the electrification subsystems of the 870 km long high-speed railway infrastructure. The high-speed line will connect the three Baltic capitals with Poland and central Europe. The total value of the contract is EUR 24 million, with Italferr’s share of 33.3 %. The contract will have a duration of 7 years.
