The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, had a telephone conversation with his French counterpart, Jean-Yves Le Drian, focusing on the situation in Tunisia. The two Ministers confirmed that Italy and France are in full agreement, calling for respect for the rule of law and a return to the normal functioning of institutions to respond to the health, economic and social crisis in the country. Lastly, a joint commitment to support the stability of the Tunisian Republic emerged from the talks.
